August 4, 2008 - Laurens, SC. "We are proud to welcome Mark to the CeramTec team and are excited by the years of knowledge and experience he brings to CeramTec," said Michael Mueller, CeramTec's President.

Before joining CeramTec, Mark worked for 7 years with Morgan Advanced Ceramics, Inc., as Sales and Business Development Manager. While at Morgan, he was responsible for sales of wear resistant glass for bar code scanners and diamond-like carbon (DLC) coatings into various markets including high performance racing, medical and scientific instrumentation.

Previous to working with Morgan, Mr. Duchnak was District Sales Manager with Martin Marietta Magnesia Specialties, Inc. At Martin Marietta, Mark managed a sales team to grow refractory sales in the Southeastern sales territory. Mark was also awarded a patent along with two colleagues for the development of a closed loop foamy slag system.

Mark is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a BS degree in Ceramic Engineering and a MBA degree in Business Administration.
