Exton – In efforts to be an environmentally responsible organization, Cell-Con, Inc. is promoting Call2RecycleŽ, the only no cost rechargeable battery and cellphone collection program in North America. By conveniently recycling used rechargeable batteries and old cellphones through Call2Recycle, Cell-Con is demonstrating its commitment to the environment by adopting green business practices.

"Participating in a battery recycling program is one important way that businesses can advance their green business practices and make their organization more sustainable," said Carl Smith, CEO and president of Call2Recycle. "By being a member of Call2Recycle, Cell-Con helps make it possible for thousands of businesses across the country to incorporate battery recycling into environmental initiatives and contribute to a cleaner environment."

Cell-Con manufacturers custom, rechargeable battery packs and battery charger solutions for commercial applications, using Li-ion, LiFePO4, and NiMh chemistries. Their customers include Medical Device Manufacturers, Industrial, and Military Applications. As a member of Call2Recycle, Cell-Con is taking a proactive role in encouraging companies and individuals to recycle the rechargeable batteries used in their field and office every day, preventing the used products from entering the solid waste stream.
