CAVE CREEK, Ariz. - Celeritive Technologies, Inc. announces the appointment of Gaudian Industrial Sales of Romeoville, Illinois, as a manufacturer's representative for the ultra high-performance toolpath engine VoluMill(TM) in Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin, North and South Dakota and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
VoluMill is a plug-in rough-milling toolpath engine that can be used with any CAM system. It is used in place of traditional roughing toolpaths when shop productivity is a priority. The use of VoluMill has proven to significantly increase machine capacity utilization, reduce cycle times, and dramatically reduce per-unit tooling costs on all part geometries and materials.
Gaudian Industrial Sales, established in 1963, services 300 industrial goods distributors who supply cutting tools, coolants and other necessities to hundreds of local manufacturers.
Lawrence Lynott, vice president of Sales for Celeritive, says Gaudian was selected to represent VoluMill "because of the company's manufacturing expertise, high technical knowledge and reputation for providing its customers with leading-edge products and services."
Ron Prohl, owner and president of Gaudian since 1987, says he decided to add VoluMill to the company's product line after verifying the significant positive impact VoluMill was having on American manufacturers in other parts of the country.
