Cat® Expands Diesel and Natural Gas Power Range for Irrigation and Industrial Power Units Used in Pumping Applications

PEORIA, IL- Caterpillar Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of expanded power ranges tailored to agricultural, mining and industrial pumping applications. The power ranges cover a wide variety of diesel and natural gas engines. The Cat® diesel engine range includes the C2.2 through the C32 ACERT® and covers 43 to 950 bhp (32-709 bKw). The natural gas engine line includes the G3304 through the G3408 and a power range from 95 to 425 bhp (71-317 bKW).

The natural gas engine power ranges include:

"Cat power units provide a simple 'plug and play' solution for customers who require a power unit which includes a radiator, air cleaner, alternator, wiring and optional instrument panel and clutch." Reinhart added. Cat power units are tailored for repowering existing applications or as prime power for new irrigation or industrial pumping applications.
