Press release date: August 1, 2006
Casella USA have recently introduced a new version of the firmware (ver 1.08) for their CEL-450 and 490 real time analyzers. Due to popular demand the 2 analyzers in the CEL-400 series are now able to provide the user with a "direct to print" option straight from the meter. This new addition allows a user in the field to produce a hard copy of all measurements to a printer instead of having to wait until the meter is back in the office and downloaded to a computer.
The hard copy output is available in both Broadband mode and when using the built in whole octave or third octave band filters for frequency analysis. Output is made in text mode to both US letter size (8.5 x 11 in) and European A4 size (210 x 297 mm) paper stock.
If periodic measurements have been performed then the user can control how much of the data in memory is actually sent to the printer so that only the key results are printed.
Output information includes the unique ID of the meter, that date and start time of the measurement plus the recording duration, the pre and post calibration information and all the relevant settings that could affect the interpretation of the results.
