AMHERST, NH, December 3, 2009 - Casella USA, the North American subsidiary of UK-based Casella Measurement, announced today a partnership with government contract consulting firm Technical Communities, Inc. to target U.S. Government General Services Administration (GSA) sales. With offices in San Bruno, CA and Washington, DC, Technical Communities serves more than 1,200 federal and local buying organizations to help them conveniently purchase and deploy a wide range of technology products.
"Partnering with Technical Communities will streamline the purchasing process significantly for our federal, state and local government customers," said Bob Selywn, National Sales and Marketing Manager for Casella USA. "This important initiatives guarantees that we offer our government customers competitive pricing, ease of purchase and variety."
Casella USA recently re-established its GSA program to help ensure healthy work environments for government employees and U.S. citizens. The company was authorized to use GSA Contact Number GS-24F-0066M to supply test and measurement equipment to government organizations.
The contract establishes the terms and conditions, including special government pricing, for the sale of more than 300 Casella products, kits and accessories which are immediately available to all federal agencies, as well as state and local governments under GSA Cooperative Purchasing. These include new Casella Tuff(TM) personal air sampling pumps, Microdust(TM) Pro real-time dust analyzers, Microtherm(TM) heat stress monitors, and an assortment of CEL-branded sound level meters.
