Press release date: January 20, 2012

The CL Board of Directors has named Alan K. Frost as President, effective November 1, 2011. Alan Frost holds a law degree and MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. He has extensive experience in process improvement through ISO 9001:2008 and as a Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Examiner. Frost has 37 years of experience at Carr Lane, having managed virtually all areas of the company during that time, including his most recent responsibilities as VP of Operations.

"This year has been a very good one for Carr Lane," Frost said. "We are optimistic about the future, also. Because of the strong foundation we have established, the company is in a very good position to grow. We are dedicated to improving our service and product selection, as these are the basis of our success. We will work with our distributors to become even more successful. We are assembling a strong management team to ensure Carr Lane stays at the top of the tooling component industry in the 21st century."

Other announcements include Myrtle E. Walker, Board Chair; Lanny Lamont, Vice Chair; and Nance Frost, Executive Vice President, while Ray Okolischan, Vice President of Engineering and Tom Smith, Vice President of Sales, will continue with the same titles as before. Learn more at www.carrlane.com.
