Sumter, SC - Carolina Filters, Inc. a specialized cleaning and service company has invested in new vacuums approved for the collection of explosive dust in Class I, Class II, & Class III environments.

The vacuums are anti-static grounded units that will not spark and will not generate dangerous amounts of heat. The have static conductive vacuum hoses and are equipped with a HEPA filtration system. The devices are built with a double safeguard of conductive static dissipative materials and connections as well as complete grounding of all components.

When cleaning it is important to pay close attention to ignition sources and use only vacuum cleaners approved for combustible dust collection. Outlined in the NFPA 68 Standard, and enforced by OSHA, is a mandatory requirement on the collection devices to be used when cleaning combustible dust.

Dwight Jr. He started out by selling air filters and providing service for these air filters in industrial plants throughout the southeastern United States.
