Electronic packaging leader receives prestigious award for exceptional performance
Brockton, Mass. - Carlo Gavazzi Computing Solutions, Inc. (CGCS), an innovative leader in backplane, chassis and system integrated system solutions, announces that the company has been honored by Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) with the "Four Star Supplier Excellence" award. Raytheon, a technology leader specializing in defense, homeland security and other government markets throughout the world, recorded 23.1 billion dollars worth of sales in 2007. Raytheon Company has recognized the exceptional performance of 61 of their key suppliers for their exceptional service with this award; recipients comprise a global community of companies.
"We are proud to recognize these companies for their outstanding performance and commitment to helping us deliver the capabilities our men and women in uniform depend on," said Zack Noshirwani, IDS vice president for Integrated Supply Chain Quality.
The three important factors used to determine the award recipients include: on-time delivery measures, sustained quality performance, and commitment to continuous process and quality improvement. Honorees received their awards in a ceremony that took place in October.
