HeartCentrix® ECG Informatics Makes Results from Burdick® and Quinton® branded products from Cardiac Science Accessible in MicroMD EMR 5.0
BOTHELL, Wash. and MELVILLE, N.Y., Dec. 21 -- Cardiac Science Corporation, (NASDAQ:CSCX), a leading provider of cardiac monitoring, defibrillation and rehabilitative products, and Henry Schein Medical Systems, the medical software division of Henry Schein, Inc., announced that the connection with HeartCentrix® ECG informatics system by Cardiac Science is complete. This connectivity enables the seamless transfer of Burdick® and Quinton® brand ECG, exercise stress and Holter monitoring results to version 5.0 of Henry Schein Medical Systems' electronic medical record (EMR) software, MicroMD® EMR.
The connection between Cardiac Science devices and MicroMD EMR will help physicians simplify diagnostic cardiology workflow in their offices by eliminating a source of data transcription errors, and will provide the physician a unified view of patient diagnostic data. With HeartCentrix ECG informatics, physicians have immediate access to electronically view or edit patients' test results and later retrieve data in MicroMD EMR.
