Best Use of Exhibition Media!
Capital Safety took home the top award for their new interactive trade show stand at the recent Sydney Safety Show held on the 17-19th October 2006, being awarded the 'Best Use Of Exhibition Media'. Capital Safety won the award for providing the wow factor, crowd involvement and participation.

The new two tiered stand allowed attendees to take the height safety tour and be educated about the five critical components that should be considered to protect yourself when working at height: anchor point; body harness; connector; decelerator; and effective rescue. The interactive tour enabled visitors to be fitted out with the latest DBI-SALA ExoFit(TM) XP harnesses, get connected to a self retracting lifeline and take the three metre climb to the second level where they were connected to the new Evolution horizontal lifeline system. Participants were then taken around the stand and informed about the various height safety, fall protection and rescue aspects. The tour ended with the candidate suspended in the harness and lowered back to the ground via our UCL Portable fall Arrest System.
