MONROEVILLE, Pa. - Compunetix, Inc., the leading manufacturer of collaborative conferencing platforms, is proud to announce that the CONTEX Summit® has successfully met all Interoperability and Information Assurance requirements for full Accreditation and listing on the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Unified Capabilities Approved Products List (APL) for use with Defense Switched Network (DSN) - the communications network used by the Department of Defense and other governmental departments and agencies. All testing was completed at the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) at Fort Huachuca, Arizona and certifies that the Summit can deploy into a TDM and/or AS-SIP (via a LSC gateway) environments within the DoD/DISA infrastructure. The Summit is certified with the T1 ISDN PRI American National Standards Institute (ANSI) T1.619a interface to Local Session Controllers (LSCs) listed on the UC APL. JITC is the Defense Information System Agency's (DISA) primary agent for testing, evaluating, and certifying Information Technology (IT) and National Security Systems (NSS) used in joined and combined operations.
The JITC Certified CONTEX Summit is full-featured and includes multi-level precedence and preemption (MLPP), blast dial into conference, and multiple dial attempts, allowing communications to flow smoothly and securely in mission-critical environments.
