CONEXPO Asia 2007 will be held December 4-7, 2007 at the Chinese Import and Export Fair (CIEF) Pazhou Complex in Guangzhou, China. Show owner and organizer is the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM). Show co-organizer is the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME).
AEM has nearly finalized the seminar schedule for the show's education. The association is building upon the 2006 event and will offer more classroom sessions and an expanded demonstration program featuring hands-on equipment operation.

CONEXPO Asia 2007 will also offer a pre-show educational program for show exhibitors to help them prepare for and have a successful show experience. This exhibitor meeting is a new feature of CONEXPO Asia, and is offered free of charge as a value-added service to exhibitors. The exhibitor meeting will be held August 9, 2007 at the Pazhou Complex in Guangzhou.

Industry groups are working with show management to co-locate events with CONEXPO Asia 2007, and companies are planning meetings at the show in recognition of its reputation as the 2007 international gathering place for the Chinese and Asia-Pacific marketplace.
Exhibit space sales continue to be strong, with the 2007 show already 80 percent larger than the inaugural CONEXPO Asia 2006. As of mid-May, more than 140 exhibitors had reserved 58,000 square meters of indoor and outdoor space. Visit the show website for an up-to-date exhibitor list.

CONEXPO Asia - Run By Manufacturers to Benefit the Industry
CONEXPO Asia is unique because it draws upon the strength of AEM's 100 years of service as a trade show organizer. In addition to benefiting from AEM's experience as an international trade show leader, CONEXPO Asia is the only construction equipment trade show in the Asian marketplace run by manufacturers for the benefit of the industry.

What this means is that CONEXPO Asia is the result of industry direction from exhibitors, attendees, and industry and government groups. With their input, AEM is able to provide the best possible results for exhibitors and attendees. Cost effectiveness and customer service are key traits of AEM shows such as CONEXPO Asia and CONEXPO-CON/AGG.

Manufacturers on show planning committees set the guidelines for areas such as exhibit space rates and services. Industry groups share their knowledge on the needs of industry professionals for training. And, AEM as an association is run by the manufacturers. AEM also gives back to the industry, supporting safety, training, education, standards-development and other initiatives in China and worldwide.
This industry focus ensures that CONEXPO Asia is the premier China-based event for finding the latest technological and safety innovations and the highest quality product capabilities. Attendees will be able to discuss their project needs directly with Chinese and non-Chinese manufacturers, including the global leaders.

Education Seminar Program Details Provided
CONEXPO Asia's continuing efforts to expand and improve upon its diverse educational offerings is another demonstration of its commitment to assist and advance the development of the industry in the Asia-Pacific region.

In response to industry input and to enhance the attendee experience, CONEXPO Asia 2007 will feature over 25 individual world-class education seminars over the four days of the show, presented by industry experts from around the world. Each seminar will be offered in English and Chinese via simultaneous interpretation.

Education will be grouped into areas including products, current and upcoming construction projects, management efficiencies and personal development. There will also be Southern China project updates, advice on securing expressway projects and railway construction projects, and best practices learned from the top five Asian construction projects. Equipment and techniques under discussion will include aerial work platforms, paving processes, backhoe loaders, mobile and tower cranes, excavators and mini excavators, roller compacted concrete, skid steers, soil compaction, excavating and GPS, and slurry and patching techniques.

Complementary to the classroom education sessions, a hands-on equipment demonstration area will allow attendees to view the latest technologies in action. Trenching, earthmoving, paving and compaction equipment will be showcased in this unique opportunity for attendees to compare equipment capabilities first-hand and discuss operating features and benefits with the manufacturers. Attendees can compare different machines and models to find the ones best suited to their job needs, and at the same time increase their knowledge for safe and efficient equipment operation.
