GARBSEN, GERMANY - COMET, the leading international manufacturer of high-resolution FEINFOCUS X-Ray inspection systems, announces the appointment of Jens Kühhirt to Head of Technical Services for the FEINFOCUS Business Unit. In this position, Mr. Kühhirt will be responsible for enhancing the company's award-winning service, applications, repair, and training capabilities.
Mr. Kühhirt brings to COMET several years experience in technical services. Previously, he was vice president of a major engineering service firm and, prior to that, a branch manager at an international engineering services provider.
This appointment, combined with consecutive Service Excellence Awards in 2004 and 2005, plus new inspection laboratories in their Stamford, CT and San Jose, CA offices, demonstrates COMET's unparalleled commitment to technical services.
