On March 25-27, 2008, CMAI will host 23rd Annual World Petrochemical Conference, which will focus on critical macro issues for chemicals, plastics, and fiber industries on day one. Day 2 will include concurrent sessions for Aromatics and Fiber Intermediates, Olefins and Derivatives, Polyolefins, and Chlor-Alkali and related products. Complementing conference, two 1-day workshops will bring business people up to speed with language, concepts, and key issues in industry.

HOUSTON, Feb. 27 -- On March 25-27, 2008 Chemical Market Associates, Inc. (CMAI) will host its 23rd Annual World Petrochemical Conference and Workshops in Houston, Texas. Registered participants are up 20 percent from last year and expected to keep on pace to break the record level of total participation of 942 attendees at the 2007 conference and workshops. The 23rd Annual World Petrochemical Conference will highlight Keynote Speaker Volker Trautz, President and CEO, LyondellBasell, The Netherlands. On the first day, the popular General Session will focus on the critical macro issues for the chemicals, plastics and fiber industries. Further defining the outlook for major chemical industry sectors, day two will include concurrent sessions for Aromatics & Fiber Intermediates, Olefins & Derivatives, Polyolefins and Chlor-Alkali & Related Products.
