OKW Electronics has launched a new range of isolated connection strips and blocks from Camden Electronics. These are designed to enable connection of additional wires without cutting the main conductor.
The CISB series allow spur connections to be made quickly and easily, and are available in nine sizes offering cable capacities from 14 AWG minimum to 10 AWG maximum in the smallest blocks, and up to 3/0 AWG minimum to 300 MCM maximum in the largest size. The four smallest sizes (up to 2 AWG) are supplied in 12 pole strips that are easily divided. The five largest sizes (from 1 AWG) are supplied as singles that can easily be joined together to form strips as required.
These connection strips are molded in natural UL94 V-2 rated PA6, and are fitted with nickel plated brass inserts with zinc plated brass clamping screws. All types are supplied with raised screws for convenience, while the five largest sizes are also available with Allen screws as an option. The base section includes mounting holes for securing to chassis, PCBs, cabinets etc.
