Armstrong Engineering has been exhibiting at the Achema in Frankfurt since the late 1960s. Held once every three years, Achema is the largest engineering show of its kind in the world and is held in the grounds of what can only be described as a medium sized town. Achema draws up to 5000 exhibitors and 250,000 visitors, from within the process and chemical industries from the world's largest EPC contractors to Universities to the manufacturers of the marking systems for capsules used for containing prescription drugs; everything that can be imagined in science is there! Armstrong last exhibited at Achema 2012.
With Achema now being offered in China, Armstrong's subsidiary company, Singapore based Chemtec Pte Ltd will exhibit at AchemAsia for the first time to make the Chinese aware of the Manufacturing capabilities of Chemtec which has the Chinese Special Manufacturing License, making it a reliable partner in China and especially where US licensed process technology is used which incorporates Armstrong equipment such as Vaporizers and Electric Heaters.
Korea continues to be the best market in Asia for Chemtec Singapore, a subsidiary of Armstrong Engineering Associates of West Chester PA, with well know EPC contractors such as Samsung, GS, Hyundai, Daewoo all bidding for multi billion dollar contracts from China to the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Korea Chem will be the first time for Chemtec to be able to take the products to the customer.
Products include ethylene vaporizers, vertical vaporizers for Chlorine, Ammonia and Hydrocarbons, process electric heaters and control panels and scraped surface heat exchangers used extensively in chemical separation processes. Armstrong expects to increase revenues over time as a result of these high profile opportunities and looks forward to a very successful 2013.
