CHEMIR Premieres at K Show

Maryland Heights, MO - CHEMIR is proud to be a first time exhibitor at the K Show, the International Trade Fair for Plastics, October 16-23 in Dusseldorf Germany.   As an independent laboratory, the company will be featuring its unique customized analytical testing services for solving difficult problems with plastic materials.

CHEMIR is a division of Evans Analytical Group (EAG), a worldwide network of testing laboratories.  Both CHEMIR and EAG scientists will be available to answer questions and describe examples of plastic problems solved in their analytical testing laboratories.

Clients come to CHEMIR for a variety of reasons. Some are looking to deformulate, or reverse engineer a plastic or polymeric material in order to better understand a competitor’s product.  Others seek to identify a specific material in a product or identify a possible contaminant. Clients also call on CHEMIR to determine the root cause of plastic failure, in order to investigate changes in product chemistry that could be causing degradation, contamination or breakage.

CHEMIR’s scientists investigate these issues by using multiple methods on analysis, including spectroscopy, chromatography, mass spectrometry, and thermal analysis.  CHEMIR also supports research and development, by characterizing materials, confirming product composition or assisting with material selection.

Attendees of the upcoming K Show, , will have the opportunity to speak with the plastic testing experts from CHEMIR in Hall 7, Level 1, Booth A55. “We’re excited to be showcasing our services at the K Show for the first time” says Aaron Cassely, Senior Director of CHEMIR, “I invite attendees to visit our booth to discuss their analytical challenges.”  Preshow appointments may also be arranged by visiting http://www.chemir.com/k-show-meeting.html, or by contacting Nick Bianchi at 1-314-291-6620 or nbianchi@eag.com.
