CDS Manufacturing designed and built this automatic knife handle feeder system. This system utilizes vision inspection equipment and a rotator to orient the handles for blade insertion. A dual headed pick and place positions a pair of handles at the end of the system where the blades are inserted. Part present sensors verify that all of the components are properly positioned and a heating element assembles the blades to the handles.
