CBS ArcSafe RSA-12A Remote Switch Actuator Wins Occupational Health & Safety New Product of the Year Award
Denton, TX — The CBS ArcSafe® RSA-12A, a custom-built remote switch actuator designed to operate all DS types of electrical circuit breakers while keeping technicians well outside the arc-flash danger zone, has won the Occupational Health & Safety New Product of the Year Award in the Electrical Safety category.

A panel of judges considered criteria such as overall value, innovation, design/style, ease of use, durability, and quality when evaluating the contest entries. The CBS ArcSafe® RSA-12A provides remote CHARGE, CLOSE, and OPEN operation of all DS-type circuit breakers with either manual or electric charging mechanisms from up to 300 feet away from the equipment. Ideal for remote operation in hard-to-access areas, the lightweight, portable switch uses magnetic latching mechanisms that do not require any modification to the breaker.
