(CBI), a Barry-Wehmiller business unit, will be integrated as an operating group within sister division FleetwoodGoldcoWyard, effective immediately. The combined business employs 600 people in seven strategic locations worldwide and has projected annual revenues of more than $130 million.

CBI, located in Doncaster, England, has more than 25 years of experience specializing in providing new and refurbished industrial packaging equipment and services to the food, beverage and brewing industries worldwide.

FleetwoodGoldcoWyard is a Chicago, USA-based organization specializing in the design and manufacture of conveyance systems and palletizing and depalletizing equipment for bottles, cans, lids, cases and cartons used primarily in the packaging industry.

"By uniting CBI and FleetwoodGoldcoWyard, we have created a unique packaging business that allows us to extend our product and project capabilities around the globe," Ostapowicz said.

"CBI has a reputation of taking on challenging projects for top-tier companies and performing at the highest level. We are excited about the possibilities and potential this business model has to offer."

Richard Cranston has also joined the team as the newly appointed Director of U.K. Operations, with additional responsibility for the FleetwoodGoldcoWyard facility in St. Albans, England.

Following 10 years of experience with Barry-Wehmiller Design Group, Cranston is returning to the U.K. to oversee the engineering, manufacturing and projects teams at both locations.

"We have a wealth of experienced professionals at CBI and FleetwoodGoldcoWyard," added Neal McConnellogue, Vice President of Sales. "By bringing this team together, we have positioned ourselves to provide 'best-in-class' equipment solutions to our valued clients around the world."
