CAS DataLoggers Upgrades Its Accsense VersaLog Software

SiteView Version 2.2 Adds New Functionality and Faster Installation

CHESTERLAND OH —

CAS DataLoggers is pleased to announce a new upgrade to its SiteView datalogging software for Accsense VersaLog data loggers. SiteView 2.2 is the newest version supporting VersaLog series loggers. This latest upgrade resolves a few known bugs. As with the previous version, the logger USB driver is installed silently along with the installation of SiteView rather than via a series of separate wizard dialogs. This simplifies installation considerably.

A bug regarding applying custom-line equation to graph and applying equation to custom channel has been addressed. Additionally, in the previous version, tool bar buttons were missing in the logger configuration dialog—this has also been resolved in the new update.

Our new Accsense VersaLog data loggers provide your project with 7-8 input channels, precise measurements, and several connection options. All these features are integrated in VersaLog’s powerful SiteView software, an inexpensive configuration and analysis solution letting you view and present your data however you like. Accsense VersaLog is a budget-saving replacement for expensive data acquisition systems, offering portable multi-channel monitoring in the lab, for medical fridges and freezers, or anywhere you need to record and save data.

Using SiteView, you can configure and setup your Accsense VersaLog data loggers to sample in a range anywhere from every 20 milliseconds to every 12 hours. Download your data, then plot and analyze it with this user-friendly PC-based application. You can even solve scientific and laboratory algorithm difficulties with SiteView’s custom equation and custom-line equations. For fast downloads, SiteView supports fast communication speeds (up to 115200 bps) as well as multiple file loading which makes it easy to run data comparisons to get a complete picture for your project.

View all alarm triggers, zoom in on important data, annotate and label graph functions, and view dynamic statistics to give you more detailed information. Set low and high programmable alarm thresholds for the alarm outputs, and trigger on/off external alarm devices such as strobe lights, sirens or alarm telephone dialers.

With most models recording on 7-8 channels, Accsense VersaLog monitors many parameters including temperature, humidity, current, voltage, and ambient temperature, and also offers connection with thermistors for extreme accuracy. These battery-powered dataloggers also support USB, Serial port and Ethernet connections for local and remote access so you’re never without a quick way to check your data. All readings are stored on a 4MB flash memory for later retrieval.

With such a low cost per channel and simple operation, Accsense VersaLog recorders are an ideal solution for your monitoring and alarming projects, no matter how simple or complex. For extended logging in harsh industrial environments, Accsense VersaLog products all feature a rugged, splash-resistant aluminum enclosure, and their internal electronics are protected against moisture by a conformal coating.
