The EL-DataPad Protective Boot protects the device from scratches and light knocks, making it even more suited to remote data collection in the field. Lascar's Handheld DataPad lets users quickly and easily configure all their EasyLog (EL) USB data logger units, download data, and view logging results on the spot. All this functionality is directly at users' fingertips via its 2.8" TFT Color LCD 240x320 pixel touch-screen interface, entirely replacing the need to travel to retrieve the loggers to download their data. The handheld collector also enables continuous monitoring with negligible breaks in collecting data, displays onsite data collection presentation in graph, legend and summary format, and lets users reconfigure their dataloggers while still in the field. The El-DataPad Boot is immediately available through CAS DataLoggers at a low price that can fit into any budget.
The El-DataPad Boot is a rubber casing that fits tightly around the El-DataPad to guard it against everyday wear and tear. Users simply slip the black cover over the handheld collector. Strategically-placed openings in the boot allow regular use of the handheld data collector with a Lascar data logger and connection to the computer using its convenient mini USB cable.
Lascar's EasyLog series are the world's first direct USB data loggers, providing customers with a low-cost, portable, and easy-to-use method of recording temperature, humidity, voltage, 4-20mA and carbon monoxide. These data loggers are connected to the EL-DataPad via a standard USB port at the top of the viewer. Users are quickly guided through an intuitive menu navigation and given options to setup the logger, stop logging, and download and view data. Users can also perform full or quick setup of all compatible EasyLog USB data loggers; onscreen instructions have the same structure as Lascar's EL-USB-WIN software for PC, provided FREE with each datalogger, increasing ease of use. General trend and summary screens are also available for viewing downloaded data. The DataPad is compatible with a wide variety of bestselling EL-USB loggers, including the following: EL-USB-1, EL-USB-1-LCD, EL-USB-1-PRO, EL-USB-2, EL-USB-2+, EL-USB-2-LCD, EL-USB-2-LCD+, EL-USB-TC, EL-USB-TC-LCD, and EL-USB-LITE.
The EL-DataPad also complements the EL-USB loggers in portability, measuring only 4.2" in length and 2.7" in width. For maximum collection functionality, data from up to 100 loggers can be viewed on the handheld unit, with data from an additional 400 units stored on the viewer's internal Flash memory at any given time. The viewer's data recording capacity is over 8.5 million readings, and the DataPad's
integral rechargeable lithium battery provides up to 8 hours of use. Stored data is easily transferred to a PC or Mac using the supplied micro USB cable. Uploaded data is then saved in comma separated variable (.csv) format for hassle-free import into popular spreadsheet packages such as Microsoft Excel, or graphed on a PC using Lascar's free software.
