Daryl Zielinski Joins the CAS DataLoggers Team
CAS DataLoggers is pleased to announce the recent hiring of a Data Acquisition System Product Manager. Daryl Zielinski comes to the company with many years of industry experience in electrical engineering sales and the technical knowledge CAS DataLoggers customers have come to expect. Daryl has made a career selling PLC equipment and in his most recent work, he excelled in custom systems engineering for use in industrial cranes. Daryl now offers customers advanced, high-performance systems from quality manufacturers including Jager and Delphin Technologies.
Jager's sophisticated ADwin systems support parallel, individually-controlled, real-time processes, all while running independently of the PC's operating system. ADwin systems provide deterministic operation with response times of 1 usecond or less. A key feature is their tightly coupled analog and digital inputs along with counters that provide extremely low latency operation. These systems are available in 3 form factors: the ADwin-L16 which offers 8 analog inputs, the ADwin-Gold/Gold II with 16 analog inputs, and the ADwin-Pro/Pro II Series which utilize a modular form factor with plug-in modules to allow up to 480 analog or digital inputs in a single chassis.
There are also a variety of other I/O options including CANbus, SSI, Profibus/Fieldbus, RS-232/485, and signal conditioner modules. ADwin systems are used for testing automotive components, sensors and ECU's, electrical component test, control of servohydraulic systems, motion control, laser and ebeam control, signal generation and high-speed synchronized data acquisition. The ADwin software environment can be used under Windows (95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP/Windows 7) and LINUX or as a stand-alone data acquisition system.
Additionally, Delphin Technologies data loggers/data acquisition systems are available to solve a variety of measurement and control problems in industrial and laboratory applications. These devices feature different analog and digital input and output modules that can be used with a wide range of signal types including voltage, 4-20 mA current, thermocouple, RTD, and resistance. They also offer powerful alarm and programming capabilities to allow the instruments to process measurements and initiate actions on their own. Delphin systems can be used for local data acquisition and logging when connected to a PC, for remote unattended data collection connected the internet, or as stand-alone devices.
CAS DataLoggers is a distributor of data loggers, paperless recorders and data acquisition equipment which sells directly to end users and also works through a network of distributors and resellers throughout the United States, Canada, Central and South America. CAS DataLoggers engineers can provide assistance in selecting the appropriate product for the application, recommend sensors and transducers, and provide expert technical support. Other services available include onsite installation, wiring and packaging, calibration, and engineering and design.
Pete Martin, Principal & Sales Manager at CAS DataLoggers, explains his enthusiasm: "Daryl is extensively familiar with the functionality and solutions required to give customers informed suggestions that affect the quality of the products and services of our end users. Given the data acquisition and control functions of both the ADwin and Delphin product lines combined with his years of working with these products, we expect significant sales growth in our US and Canadian markets. We're happy to bring him onto the CAS DataLoggers team."
