Bunting® Magnetics Expands Metal Detection Service Department


NEWTON, KS - Bunting® Magnetics Co, headquartered in Newton, Kansas, is pleased to announce the addition of David Briggs and Clint Pitts as new Service Technicians for our Metal Detection Department.

"We are rapidly expanding our service capabilities to provide constant technical support for customers," stated Rod Henricks, Bunting® Product Manager - Metal Detection. "Manufacturing operations can not afford to shut down production lines. Our service team helps our customers remain productive by either providing solutions quickly over the phone or by being on-site in a rapid manner to solve any issues. Both David and Clint will be able to help Bunting® increase our service commitment to our customers."

Both David, a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army, and Clint, a Petty Officer - First Class in the United States Navy, bring an extensive avionics and electrical engineering background to their roles. In his last role, David was Maintenance Supervisor at Fort Hood in Texas. Mr. Briggs managed the maintenance for 24 Longbow Apache helicopters. This included the supervision of 25 maintenance personnel, workflow management and quality control for the flight line operations of that fleet of helicopters. During his time in the Army, David had tours of duty in both Korea and Iraq.

Clint has both commercial and military experience that he brings to the company. Mr. Pitts has recently worked as an Aviation Maintenance Manager at both Aerotek Aviation and Cessna Aircraft, based in Wichita, Kansas. Prior to that, Clint served ten years in the United States Navy in Aviations maintenance with a focus on electrical, instrument and power systems. During his service time, Clint directed the daily operations for the electronics shop aboard the USS Enterprise.
