Champlin, Minnesota: PRIMA North America, Inc., the North American subsidiary of PRIMA INDUSTRIES S.p.A., Torino, Italy, a world-leading manufacturer of industrial laser systems, announced today the appointment of Bruce C. Polson to the position of Western Regional Sales Manager in the United States for LASERDYNE SYSTEMS.
In announcing the appointment, Terry L. VanderWert, President of PRIMA North America, stated that Mr. Polson will manage all LASERDYNE SYTEMS sales activities throughout the Western United States headquartering in LASERDYNE's Champlin, Minnesota manufacturing facilities and reporting to Carl Bryant, LASERDYNE's North American sales manager.
"Mr. Polson brings to LASERDYNE many years of design engineering, process development and marketing experience in laser system processes, machine automation and related high technology products. His many accomplishments in process development both with machine automation and laser systems further demonstrates LASERDYNE's commitment to serving our customers needs in the Western United States," Mr. VanderWert stated.
Mr. Polson's background includes patent development and numerous achievement awards as senior development engineer with ADC Telecommunications, Inc. and senior advisory development engineer with Seagate Technology. Most recently he was global account manager for Automation Tooling Systems of Cambridge, Ontario, Canada, business development manager for Assembly and Test Worldwide of Vernon Hills, Illinois and operated his own technical solutions company.
Mr. Polson is a graduate of Iowa State University with a B.S. in industrial engineering and a mini MBA from the University of St. Thomas.
