Press release date: April 13, 2011

GERMANTOWN, Wis., (April 13, 2011) - Today Bradley Corporation hosted a group of officials and representatives from state, county and local governments, as well as business representatives to break ground for its new manufacturing plant in the Germantown Business Park. The 90-year-old manufacturer of plumbing fixtures, restroom accessories and emergency equipment projects that the new plant will be operational by the end of the year or early 2012.

The groundbreaking featured appearances and speeches by Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch, Department of Natural Resources Secretary Cathy Stepp, State Deputy Secretary of Commerce Mike Klonsinski, State Representative Dan Knodl of Germantown, as well as Village of Germantown officials Dean Wolter and Dave Schornack, Washington County Economic Development Executive Director Christian Tscheschlock, and representatives from Senator Ron Johnson's and Herb Kohl's offices.

The Germantown site is located several minutes from the company's Menomonee Falls headquarters and original plant, and will be the primary manufacturing location for a variety of commercial washroom products. The new facility is planned to measure approximately 190,000 square feet and may expand in future years to over 300,000 square feet.

Once the new Germantown facility is built this winter, a smaller manufacturing facility in Milwaukee that was leased by Bradley will be closed, and all existing jobs will move to the new operation.

Bradley also has operations in Menomonee Falls; Marion, Ohio; Upper Sandusky, Ohio; Ontario, Calif. and Chicago, Ill. The company employs close to 600 people nationwide, with about 400 jobs in Southeastern Wisconsin.

Jon Dommisse, director of marketing and product development for Bradley Corp., says "Today's groundbreaking for the Germantown facility is a testament to Bradley's 90-year commitment to product innovation, hard work, quality and its people.

"It was very gratifying for Bradley to have many of the officials and representatives present today who have helped our company bring plans for this project to fruition."

For 90 years, Bradley Corporation has designed and manufactured commercial washfountains, and today is the industry's comprehensive source for plumbing fixtures, washroom accessories, partitions, emergency fixtures and solid plastic lockers.
