Emeryville, CA - NuGeneration Technologies (NuGenTec) announced today that they have been awarded a three year contract with the County of Los Angeles for Cold Patch Asphalt. This contract is for the use and distribution of NuGenTec's Bond-X Green® Environmentally Friendly Asphalt. This Cold Asphalt differs greatly than many other products currently in use for the repair of potholes, and other minor street repair applications. The main distinction being that Bond-X Green® does not use any of the traditional softening agents associated with traditional Cold Asphalt Products and does not contain any VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds).
With the ever growing concerns associated environmental stewardship, Bond-X Green® is the Leader when it comes to having a viable, sustainable solution using a formula that does not incorporate the use of Petroleum based softeners that have been known to be damaging to the environment.
In February of 2011 NuGenTec went into bulk production of this revolutionary product in Northern California at BoDean and Company of Santa Rosa, California. Additionally Bond-X Green® has been in use for over four years in the Eastern United States. Currently Bond-X Green® High Performance Asphalt is being used by many Cities, Municipalities, and Counties in the San Francisco Bay Area with great success. Bond-X Green® has been approved by Caltrans, and at this time is undergoing testing and evaluation by several Caltrans Districts.
