Los Angeles, CA - October 6, 2008: BOLT PRODUCTS, an authorized distributor for Sherex Fastening Solutions, is helping to introduce and distribute the next generation of fastening technology; a patent pending rivet nut with internally floating threads called RIV-FLOAT(TM).

Sherex's internally floating threads on the RIV-FLOAT(TM) allow for component attachments in off center applications and can accommodate for tolerance stack up in the manufacturing process. The floating nut (.020" radial float) aligns to drive the angle of the screw and thus eliminates cross threading and spin out. Sherex's RIV-FLOAT(TM) was designed for post installation in applications where cage nuts, clinch nuts, floating nut plates or weld nuts are typically used.
Sherex is officially launching RIV-FLOAT(TM) during the National Industrial Fastener Show in Las Vegas on November 3rd and 4th, 2008.
