COLORADO SPRINGS, CO - - 11/16/2009 - - Engineering Systems Inc. (ESI) is proud to announce the addition of Robert A. Granica, P.E., CISEC, Senior Engineer, to the company's Colorado Springs, CO office staff. Mr. Granica is a Professional Engineer with over 30 years experience in the geotechnical, civil and structural disciplines, covering construction projects in the western United States.
He specializes in residential construction building codes, distressed building evaluations, construction management, construction safety and quality control, repair and renovation design, storm water management compliance, geotechnical engineering, and retaining wall design. He also has extensive experience in erosion and sediment control, as well as concrete structures, corrosion protection, and repair. His expertise includes materials testing, site investigations, design, and laboratory analysis.
Prior to joining ESI, Mr. Granica held senior engineering positions in a variety of capacities throughout the state of Colorado. At one point, he managed more than 50 communities for compliance with state and EPA storm water construction regulations. He is an authorized OSHA Construction Outreach Trainer and a Certified Inspector of Sediment and Erosion Control (CISEC). He is also a licensed Professional Engineer in the states of Colorado and Minnesota.
