BlueView has more sonars operating in US ports than any other mutibeam imaging sonar
SEATTLE, Nov. 8 - BlueView Technologies, Inc., the leading provider of miniature multibeam imaging sonar, today announces the delivery of its 100th unit. Incredibly, this milestone takes place just a little over 2 years after the delivery of the first BlueView sonar on July 5, 2005 to Safe Boats Intl.
The 100th unit was sold to VideoRay LLC to be integrated on their micro-ROV. The delivery coincides with BlueView Technologies recently being certified by Open Ratings, Inc as a Top Performer based on customer references. Among BlueView's list of distinguished customers are US Navy, US Coast Guard, NATO Undersea Research Center, MIT, Oceaneering International, NYPD Counter-terrorism and 11 major US Seaports.
BlueView Technologies, Inc has developed and delivers a new generation of high resolution multibeam imaging sonar. This technology breakthrough provides sonar capabilities that are available for the first time in compact, low power systems that can be deployed on ROVs, AUVs, diver hand-held units, boat mounts systems and fixed surveillance platforms.
"To reach this important milestone so quickly means a lot to BlueView. This sale represents our ever-expanding customer base and reinforces our belief that we have an industry-leading technology that significantly advances Navy and homeland security efforts in addition to supporting offshore oil and gas operations," said Dr. Lee Thompson, CEO of BlueView Technologies, Inc.
