Press release date: July 25, 2012

This year, Bittele Electronics, a company specializing in prototype and low volume PCB assembly, helped the Cornell University Autonomous Underwater Vehicle team (CUAUV) in their project to build a versatile underwater robotics platform. Bittele sponsored the team with the custom PCBs they needed for their project. Tom Jackson, the team lead, specifically thanked Bittele for their contribution. CUAUV, who won the 2009 Office of Naval Research AUV competition, tries to push the limits of robotics technology in extreme environments.

Ege Borluoglu, marketing coordinator of Bittele Electronics, said: "We aim to help future engineers achieve their goals and look forward to sponsoring futher pcb services for students, teams and organizations. If you have an exciting student project, contact us at support@7pcb.com and we'll see if we can help."
