South Gate, CA - Arnco, one of the world's largest suppliers of polyurethane products, has announced the appointment of Bill Hory as Director of Marketing for the Arnco Performance Polymers Group.
The announcement was made by Arnco President Larry Carapellotti, who said Mr. Hory would have marketing and business development responsibility for an increasing range of urethane systems developed by APP that currently includes high hardness molding compounds, rigid and flexible foams, cast elastomers, spray elastomers, primers and MDI and TDI prepolymers.
Mr. Hory previously served as General Manager for the Arnco Carefree Tire business group, which is the country's leading supplier of micro-cellular polyurethane tires to the material handling and lawn/garden industries. He joined Arnco in 1995 to help introduce the Carefree Tire technology for wheelchairs, hand trucks, garden carts, lawn mowers and wheelbarrows, and in 1999 took on the added assignment of starting Arnco Europe. Mr. Hory has a bachelor's degree in business administration from San Diego State University and a master's degree in business administration from University of Southern California. He spent three years as an investment advisor before joining Arnco.
Founded in 1971, Arnco is the world's largest supplier of polyurethane fill for tires used in construction, mining, military, ground support, material handling and lawn/garden industries. The firm has processing facilities in South Gate, Berea, Ohio and Manchester, England.
