Despite challenging economy, leading configuration, quoting and proposal software provider posts revenue growth and continues to expand

Chicago, IL and Frankfurt, Germany - February 10, 2009 - BigMachines, Inc., the leading provider of on-demand configuration and proposal software, announced today that it achieved another record year in 2008 with 75% growth in recurring revenues over 2007. In Q4 of 2008, BigMachines saw 68% revenue growth over the same period in 2007 and achieved positive net income, closing the year with the best quarter in the company's history.

BigMachines has successfully deployed its software-as-a service solution to more than 50,000 users at customers who serve a broad variety of markets including software, high technology, medical, and industrial products. New high technology customers include Panasonic, Kodak and DriveCam; new medical customers include Carestream Health; new software customers include SirsiDynix and NetMotion; and new industrial companies include Fike Corporation and Williams Furnace Company. BigMachines also expanded its customer base into new vertical markets including advertising/promotions (including customer ePrize), publishing and financial services.

BigMachines grew its staff by 40% globally in 2008 and, overcoming general economic trends, continues to hire into 2009, expanding its development, product management, professional services, sales and marketing teams as well as its customer service team to increase the company's ability to meet the needs of its growing customer base. The company grew its international presence in 2008, opening offices in Frankfurt and London and adding new customers throughout Europe.

BigMachines is a leading partner with Salesforce.com and was recently ranked by Salesforce customers as Best Quoting Tool in Salesforce's Best Apps of 2008. In addition, BigMachines was selected as an Oracle Elite 8 Partner in 2008, confirming its top-tier partner status as a preferred solution to integrate with Oracle CRM On Demand. BigMachines also expanded its partnerships with other technology and service providers including Astadia, Bluewolf, Cast Iron Systems, Echo Lane, eLogic, Intelenex, Right90, and Xactly.

BigMachines customers achieved record levels of adoption, generating quote and order transactions through its software at an increase of 104% over 2007. In Q4 BigMachines introduced a new system and process to systematically measure customer satisfaction. From the survey conducted at BigIdeas, the company's annual User Conference and Industry Forum, 90% of BigMachines customers stated they would recommend BigMachines to their peers. BigIdeas 2009, the industry's largest event focused on guided selling, product configuration and sales process efficiencies, will take place October 4-6, 2009 at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers.
