Press release date: May 16, 2007

For 18 years, O2Game's Extruvision interoperable software has remained the only one of its kind that optimizes extrusion lines for food industries that produce cereal, grains, and pet food. This easy-to-use tool controls extruder startups and stops, manages ingredients and recipes, in addition to improving the quality and reproducibility of the extruded product. With its mastery of system piloting and reduction in down-time and reject rate, its installation generates an average of a 5 to 15% increase in productivity and a 15 to 30% reduction in operation time.

The system simply requires a computer connected directly to the controller that manages the extruder, so it easily allows for equipment adjustments as changing production demands arise. It optimizes operations on all types of lines such as Aoustin, Clextral, Davis Standard, Weber, or Werner, in single-screw, double-screw, or co-extrusion systems.

It can handle a large number of predefined parameters and interact with ground-source information such as data from sensors and actuators simultaneously. Through continuous measurement of all parameters and effective use of fuzzy logic and multi-variable analysis systems, the computer calculates and controls operation of the extruder in real time. Additionally, this open-ended software's characteristics can be edited and modified to suit the user's needs.

Extruvision is operable on Windows NT, XP, and Linux/Unix and works with such software platforms as Fix, Intouch, RSView, and Wizcon, and can be integrated into existing systems.

Current and past clients include Friskies, Nestle, Maggi, Masterfood, Miko, and many more.
