New Castle, Pa. - Berner International Corp., a leading U.S. manufacturer of air curtains and other industrial equipment, has expanded its Industrial Dealer Sales Group to support continuing expansion into the material handling segment.
Berner has named material handling industry veteran, Michael Farber as sales manager to head the Industrial Dealer Sales Group. Farber will exhibit at material handling trade shows, expand Berner's industrial dealer network and add new product offerings to the category.
Berner's current product line includes many material handling industry products including:
o Air Curtains-energy control for commercial to industrial doors up to 30 feet high. The VSA and VSB models, for example, are designed for environmental separation and insect control at exterior and interior doorways and are available for 12 (w) x 12 (h) and 12 (w) x 14 (h) openings, respectively. Air curtains are also available with hot water, steam, electric and gas-fired heating options.
o Strip Doors-affordable environmental separation and insect control at doorways, plus applications for cold storage and machine/welding enclosures.
o Specialty Door Heaters-direct gas-fired door heaters designed for facilities with negative pressure and where large amounts of air can be heated at the point of air infiltration.
Berner also offers custom engineering along with a fully-automated state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques of CNC laser and punch capabilities, CAD press brakes, powder coating and welding systems. The company's industrial equipment conserves energy by easily integrating into most popular building automation systems (BAS) protocols via Berner's new Intelliswitch 2, the most advanced, greenest and easiest-to-install digital control package in the industry.
Trade show exhibiting will include ProMat 2011 sponsored by the Material Handling Industry of America (MHIA); and International Garage Door Exposition 2011 sponsored by the International Door Association (IDA).
