Press release date: August 9, 2010

BEECHER, Ill. - Today, Bernard announced that it plans to attend the FABTECH 2010 Show in Atlanta at the Georgia World Congress Center, November 2 to 5. The company will share Booth #6811 in Hall C with Miller Electric Mfg. Co., Hobart Brothers, Tregaskiss and Weldcraft.

Bernard will showcase its new PipeProŽ Dura-Flux(TM) gun at the show. The PipePro Dura-Flux gun features a replaceable liner and internal trigger leads to ease maintenance and maneuverability, along with a dual-schedule switch and a new handle designed for greater operator comfort. The gun also features a lightweight Hi-Viz neck, which has a smaller outside diameter to improve operator visibility of the weld pool, plus Quik Tip(TM) consumables. These consumables include a threaded taper lock that provides excellent heat transfer and conductivity, while also extending the contact tip life, and can be change with a single quick twist. The new PipePro Dura-Flux gun will be bundled with Miller's new PipePro system, which includes the Big BlueŽ PipePro 350 engine drive.

Also on display at the show will be Bernard's popular Centerfire(TM) and Heavy-Duty Centerfire consumable systems and its line of Q-Gun(TM) MIG guns.

The Centerfire system features easy-to-change, drop-in contact tips, along with a spatter shield that provides smooth shielding gas flow-both features that improve weld quality and consistency, and help increase operator productivity.

Bernard's Q-Gun includes a variety of features that provide quick component changeovers to increase overall productivity and arc-on time. These fully customizable MIG guns are available in multiple handle and trigger options, amperage configurations and consumables to help reduce welding downtime and its associated costs. The guns are also capable of accommodating a wide range of applications.

Bernard personnel will be available throughout the show to assist visitors with product and welding questions.
