High-Deposition Q- and S- Series MIG guns The Dura-Flux Bernards premiere flux-cored gun Heavy-Duty Centerfire Consumables
BEECHER, Ill. June 24, 2008 - Committed to supporting the needs of Canadas industrial welding economy, Bernard Welding Products will feature several new heavy-duty MIG welding and flux-cored welding products at Booth 2600 at Weld Expo Canada, September 23-25 in Mississauga, ON.
The latest in Bernards industrial grade welding products is the HD Q and S Series MIG guns. Designed to provide exceptional durability and superior maneuverability in high deposition MIG welding environments, the HD Q- and S-Guns featuring a heavy-duty one-piece straight handle with a rubber grip. The HD Q- and S-Guns are also fully integrated into Bernards MIG gun Configurator, enabling customers to tailor nearly every component of the gun to meet the demands of most applications.
A perfect pairing for the HD Q- and S-Guns, Bernards recently introduced Heavy-Duty Centerfire Consumables are built for optimal productivity, improved weld quality and to withstand the intense heat of heavy-duty MIG welding. A removable nozzle cone allows operators to change out the most frequently damaged part of the nozzle rather than the entire part, saving money and inventory space. A heat-resistant nozzle insulating material provides longer product life and reduced operator downtime.
For the flux-cored welders in attendance, Bernard will showcase its Dura-Flux gun. Designed for heavy-duty flux-cored applications, the Dura-Flux is rated to 350 amps at 100 percent duty cycle and features a small trigger guard instead of a large heat shield for increased maneuverability. The Dura-Flux also features a non-metallic trigger that absorbs less heat than metal triggers, providing increased operator comfort and reduced fatigue. The Dura-Flux is compatible with wire feeders containing Miller Electric Mfg. Co., Lincoln, Tweco 4 and Euro connections.
