CHARLESTON, S.C., Nov. 1 -- Benefitfocus, the leader in software and services for the healthcare benefits market, today announced that Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Delaware (BCBSD) has selected Benefitfocus® eEnrollment, a technology platform that will launch its consumer-directed health plan options to its 390,000 members. Additionally, the carrier has partnered with Benefitfocus for eSales, which includes sales automation and electronic quoting engines.
Currently, Benefitfocus supports over 20 different Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans, and will roll out its robust suite of software and services to Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Delaware's large and small group customers by year-end 2006.
Benefitfocus eEnrollment allows employers to quickly and effectively manage benefit enrollment and eligibility information in one easy-to-use application. The application gives employers all the tools they need to manage the benefit enrollment process.
