BELLOWS SEAL, ZERO LEAKAGE VALVES IDEAL FOR LIGHT GAS / HAZARDOUS SYSTEM FLUID APPLICATIONS
Feature long cycle life required for MSS SP-117 SOMERS, CT USA (5/12/08)--Conval, a leader in high-temperature, high-pressure valves for the world's most demanding applications, offers single and double bellows seal valves in standard sizes from 1/2" to 4" through ASME Class 2500 in Y-pattern, angle-pattern, and T-pattern body styles. These in-line serviceable, low operating torque valves are often specified when packed valves may not reliably contain fugitive emissions such as light gases or hazardous system fluids. In almost all applications, the 6-ply Inconel, welded bellows stem seal is more reliable than sliding stem seals.
The Inconel bellows has been tested to MSS SP-117, and provides the longest cycle life in the industry. The double-height bellows provides the highest bellows valve flow capacity (Cv) available per pipe size.
Standard materials include carbon steel SA105; chrome-moly SA182-F22, F91; and stainless steel SA182-F316, F316L, and F347. Optional materials are available upon request. Standard accessories include electric, pneumatic or hydraulic actuators; open, closed or open/closed locking devices; single or dual limit switches; stem shroud; position indicator; and leak-off port. N-stamped valves and valves for nuclear applications can be provided with cobalt free trim.
Conval bellows seal valves come with a two-year warranty.
