BellSouth Home of the Future Today allows visitors to virtually tour a home that is fully-equipped with leading-edge technologies, including, among others, high-speed Internet service, home networking, broadband and wireless applications, as well as digital satellite television service through DIRECTV. Visitors are able to tour various rooms of the house, including the living room, kitchen and home and remote offices, where the featured products and services are most used. They can then click to learn more about each technology and then purchase from the Gear Store if desired.
BellSouth Gear(TM) Store helps consumers match their lifestyles with an array of currently-available products and services from BellSouth, like cordless telephones, cutting-edge consumer electronics, broadband service and home networking. For example, customers who are interested in photography or music can visit the Gear Store site to buy digital cameras and accessories as well as MP3 players and Internet radio products from various manufacturers. They can then select the BellSouth® FastAccess® DSL service that best enhances that experience, based on the gear they have purchased.
