RICHMOND, Ind., Sept. 18 /-- Belden (NYSE:BDC), a world leader in the development of signal transmission solutions for the industrial, enterprise, building management, broadcast, and security markets, has added three new Bonded-Pair, shielded cables to its DataTuff family of Industrial Ethernet cables.
The new DataTuff Industrial Ethernet cables include:
-- Belden 7953A an Ethernet/IP-compliant Cat 6 shielded cable (4-pair, 23 AWG) featuring solid bare copper conductor and overall Beldfoil shield. The cable (NEC: CMR, CEC:CMR FT4) has polyolefin insulation, an FRPO inner jacket and a sunlight- and oil-resistance Black PVC outer jacket, rated -40 degrees C to +75 degrees C operating temp.
-- Belden 7939A a Category 5e shielded cable (4-pair, 24 AWG) featuring stranded bare copper construction and overall Beldfoil shield. The cable (NEC: CMR, CMX - Outdoor, CEC: CMR FT4) has polyolefin insulation and Black or Teal sunlight- and oil-resistant PVC jacket, rated -40 degrees C to +75 degrees C operating temp.
-- Belden 7938A - a Category 5e high flex shielded cable rated for 10 million flexes (4-pair, 24 AWG) features stranded bare copper alloy conductors and overall Beldfoil shield & 85% TC Braid. The cable (AWM 20626) has polyolefin insulation, a TPE inner jacket and a sunlight-, oil-, and weldsplatter-resistant matte black TPE outer jacket.
All cables feature Belden's Bonded-Pair technology, a patented construction that affixes the conductor insulation of the cable pairs along their longitudinal axes to maintain uniform conductor-to-conductor spacing between the pairs to ensure that no performance-robbing gaps can develop. The result is excellent and consistently reliable electrical performance through the rigors of installation and beyond. Belden calls this unique capability Installable Performance .
