Modified enclosures permit quick replacement of VersaView panels with robust and reliable Beckhoff Control Panels
MINNEAPOLIS, September 22, 2009 - In order to provide a low cost and reliable alternative for VersaView(TM) panels, Beckhoff Automation now offers Control Panels for quick replacement of 12" and 15" VersaView displays. Beckhoff has designed variants of CP6xxx series Control Panels and Panel PCs with modified enclosures to permit simple drop-in after removal of Allen-Bradley(TM) VersaView panels from machines and electrical cabinets.
An ideal HMI solution for machine builders, manufacturers and anywhere else rugged display hardware is needed, Beckhoff Control Panels and Panel PCs have been implemented around the world in a wide range of demanding applications. Beckhoff 12" and 15" displays feature an aluminum front with sheet-steel rear cover, optional touch screen, optional function keys and/or optional alphanumeric keyboard. The front side is rated with IP 65 protection and the rear side with IP 20.

o USB input for the direct connection to a standard USB output of a PC with distances of up to 5 m (16.4 ft)
