Barry-Wehmiller Design Group Names Two New Partners


ST. LOUIS - Oct. 4, 2006 - Joseph Wilhelm, Managing Partner of Barry-Wehmiller Design
Group, Inc., has announced the promotions of Peter Lapins and Darren DeAnda to the position of Partner, effective immediately.

Peter Lapins started with the Design Group in St. Louis as a Project Manager in 2002, after 10 years of related industry experience with Anheuser-Busch and Marconi Data Systems. He was promoted to Director in 2005. Most recently, Lapins accepted a leadership role in the Philadelphia office to help build the firm's Consumer Products presence in this region.

Darren DeAnda started with the Design Group in Sacramento, Calif., as a Project Manager in 2001, following 10 years of related industry experience with Campbell Soup Company. He was promoted to Director in 2005. During a two-year period while Alan Cheney, Managing Partner- Sacramento, was on assignment in Southern California, Darren "stepped up" in a leadership capacity within this office.
