Solon, OH. . .Bardons & Oliver will be exhibiting CNC Turning Systems designed to manufacture piston rods and hydraulic cylinder bodies in one operation.
Using the company's proprietary CNC turning cells complete with material handling, live tooling and customized programming, Bardons & Oliver Big-Bore 2-Axis Horizontal CNC Turning Machines are designed to handle bar and tube applications from 1.00" through 12.00" in diameter.
In addition to the large collet capacity, the Big-Bore line offers 12- or 15-station, interference-free turrets with optional live tooling. High spindle speeds up to 3,000 RPM are available. The AC spindle drive features 40, 54 or 80 Horsepower.
Bar and tube loading systems allow automatic magazine loading and handle incoming material up to 40-feet long. An optional bundle unscrambler is also available.
Part unloaders are available to unload finished parts up to 15-feet long.
All Bardons & Oliver Big-Bore machines have GE-Fanuc CNC controls with digital AC servo drive systems.
