Baldor Announces New Washdown H2 Adjustable Speed Drives

September 28, 2006

Baldor Electric Company, Fort Smith, Arkansas based manufacturer of energy saving industrial electric motors, drives and generators, announces the addition of new washdown adjustable speed drives to its H2 family. These new drives are rated NEMA 4X and are available from 1 through 10 horsepower.

The new H2 washdown drives are available in open-loop, encoderless and closed-loop vector and servo configurations. Baldor has integrated its easy-to-use keypad into the new washdown H2 cover, making programming exactly the same as the standard H2 drives.

Baldor H2 controls have been manufactured to be the most reliable, easy-to-use, and high-performance drives available to industry. All H2 drives share identical operator control, field installed options, simple programming, common operating characteristics and unmatched reliability. In addition, all H2 drives accept a wide variety of plug-in expansion boards to customize the inputs, outputs and feedback requirements.

Baldor's optional Ethernet server board allows point and click setup and off- site monitoring. These value packed drives also include a "real time clock" feature providing scheduled maintenance outputs and messages, as well as a built-in PID loop.

Baldor's new H2 washdown drives are available from stock from Baldor sales offices and warehouses across North America.
