SABETHA, Kan. (December 12, 2007) - Bachelor Controls, Inc. (BCI) - a leading provider of systems integration solutions - has been named Control Engineering magazine's 2008 System Integrator of the Year in the "Up to $10 Million Annual Revenue" category.
"The System Integrator of the Year award is an innovative competition organized by one of the leading industry publications, and we are honored to be selected as System Integrator of the Year," said Ray Bachelor, president of Bachelor Controls. "This award is a testament to our project methodologies, financial stability and depth of service. As we celebrate our 25th year in business, we are thankful to our clients who have trusted us to guide them through the risk associated with automating their systems and processes."
The 2008 System Integrator of the Year award was designed and administered by Control Engineering Consulting Editor Dr. Vance VanDoren. VanDoren worked with the Control System Integrators Association (CSIA) and other industry leaders to judge entries from system integrators from all over the world. Submitting system integration firms were split into three categories, based on annual revenue.
"According to our panel of judges," said VanDoren, "winners of the 2008 Control Engineering System Integrator of the Year best demonstrated their value in terms of technical expertise, business skills, and customer satisfaction."
Walt Kozikowski, industry director for the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) and a judge for this competition, noted in his review, "Bachelor Controls focuses on institutionalized continuous process improvement and the development of a close relationship with customers, which demonstrates their desire to provide the best integration solutions possible."
The 2008 winner of the "$10 to $25 Million Annual Revenue" category was Matrix Technologies, Inc. of Maumee, Ohio, and Honeywell Process Solutions of Phoenix, Arizona, won the "Over $25 Million Annual Revenue" category.
In 2007, Bachelor Controls, Inc. was a Finalist in the "Up to $10 Million Annual Revenue" category.
