BIO Announces Newest Partnering Event in China



The BIO® China International Conference will bring together industry leaders from North America, Europe and Asia

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) announces a two-day annual biotechnology partnering meeting to be held in Shanghai, China in October 2011. The event will bring together biotechnology and pharmaceutical leaders to explore business opportunities with life science companies in China.

"China has made biotechnology innovation one of its top priorities," said Jim Greenwood, president and CEO of the Biotechnology Industry Organization. "Our industry hopes to strengthen its relationships with members of the Chinese biotechnology community and with the Chinese government through this meeting, in addition to bringing together industry leaders for discussions regarding potential partnerships and collaborations."

The BIO® China International Conference will feature plenary sessions and workshops, company presentations, partnering meeting opportunities, and an Exhibition. The conference will include biotech industry leaders from North America, Europe and Asia.
