Elk Grove Village, IL - BIG Kaiser announces further expansion to the BIG-PLUS® line of tool holders by introducing extended gauge lengths for BIG-PLUS® Shell Mill Adapters and Shrink Fit Tool Holders. The development of the extended tool lengths was driven by customer demand and allow for a wider range of applications.
BIG-PLUS® CAT50 Shell Mill Adapters are now available standard in 8-, 10-, and 12-inch gauge lengths on 1" and 1½" pilot diameters and 4- and 6-inch lengths on 1¼" pilot diameter. The 1" pilot diameter 10- and 12-inch lengths are designed with a tapered body for increased rigidity.
BIG-PLUS® CAT40 Shrink Fit Holders are now available standard with a 6-inch gauge length for ½-, 5/8-, 3/8-, and 1-inch diameters. BIG-PLUS® CAT50 Shrink Fit Holders are now available in 6-inch lengths for ¾-, 1-, and 1¼-inch diameters. These Shrink Fit tool holders offer high clamping forces, low runout, and a small nose diameter to reduce clearance issues. Metric sizes are available upon request.
