BAXL Combines Guest Internet with VDAs In-Room Entertainment Package For Macdonald Resorts Properties In Europe
BETHEL, Conn., Dec. 12 -- BAXL Technologies Inc (BULLETIN BOARD: BXLH) the leading technology solutions provider that enables the transmission of voice, data and video over existing wiring, has partnered with Resort Condominiums International (RCI) to provide broadband infrastructure and in-room entertainment packages in five of the eight Macdonald Resorts resort properties across Europe. BAXL will provide high-speed Internet access (HSIA) over fixed bandwidth infrastructure; this same infrastructure will simultaneously support a VDA premium in-room entertainment system to each guest room on the properties campus style building distribution.

BAXL's partnership with RCI provides many potential global opportunities with the over 3700-affiliated timeshare resorts which are associated with RCI worldwide. The Macdonald Hotels and Resorts Group in UK and Spain, are the first RCI properties installed with HSIA and VoD. Working in conjunction with VDA, the leading global premium in-room entertainment provider, headquartered in Italy, BAXL and VDA will leverage the Macdonald Resorts resort properties' existing wiring to provide on-demand in-room entertainment (VoD) and high speed Internet solution. Macdonald Resorts has implemented a brand-wide rollout, starting with five properties; Macdonald Club Dona Lola and the Macdonald Leila Playa resorts in Malaga, Spain; Macdonald Elmers Court resort in the New Forest, England; Macdonald Lochanhully resort in Carrbridge, Scotland and Macdonald Plas Talgarth resort in Machynlleth, Snowdonia, Wales.
